Redesigning a brand with a century-long history and widespread recognition in Puerto Rico is a significant undertaking. It was crucial to honor the brand's heritage while striving for a modern and impactful design that would make a lasting statement.

Amapola, a brand with a century-long legacy in the island's food industry, is widely known for its quality flour among the locals. This new design initiative aims to revive vintage aesthetics and showcase the packaging prominently on the display shelves.

We crafted Amapola's new icon by blending elements from their earliest and latest flower designs, picking the most appealing features from each. This fusion seamlessly integrates both illustrative and iconographic elements, giving rise to a fresh, timeless icon.

In constructing Amapola's new slogan, we aimed for it to alude to more than the brand’s fresh appearance. It had to capture the essence of how the new design is a reflection of the brand's longstanding commitment to delivering trusted products to the community over the years.

Visual STRATEGY

The color combinations on the packaging should seamlessly integrate into the marketing strategy for these products. Each product's promotion should align with the color scheme of its package,employing color blocking techniques.
