The branding for this women-owned brewery in Puerto Rico is a reflection of their self-expression. We delved into the company's culture and values to encapsulate them in the design. It was crucial to convey women's empowerment and femininity while being inclusive of all genders.
logo system
ThE logo design beautifully merges key symbols to represent the essence of the brand and its founders. The overlapping circles stand for the deep friendship between the two founders, showcasing unity and connection. The tree with branches symbolizes the strength and resilience that come from growth, while the enclosing circle captures the shape of a beer can, seamlessly tying together the spirit of friendship, growth, and the product itself. It’s a harmonious visual representation of both personal and business values.
The logo system is crafted for versatility, allowing it to adapt to a wide range of applications. With variations in shape, outline, and color, the design ensures flexibility while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

SIGNATURE BEERS
HYGGELIG
Hyggelig is the first beer of Pura Vida Brewery, launched as an Icon product that captures the essence of the brewery. its inspiration comes from “Hygge”, a Danish word that means warmth, intimacy and harmony with your environment, finding great pleasure in life itself.
the color palette of this LABEL is an exploration of the coral color that is part of the brand's secondary color palette.
PIEL DE OTOÑO
With an intense, vibrant and passionate character.
An “American IPA” style beer, with a bright orange color, that gives the palate a subtly bittersweet and juicy experience, provided by the additions of star fruit and passion fruit pulp, both grown by Puerto Rican hands. It has a medium body and a rich bitterness in which the flavors of tropical fruits, citrus and pine stand out.
This BEER IS INSPIRED BY Rhaiza's (ONE OF THE AWESOME OWNERS) favorite style and in it we reflect her personality, her childhood memories, her free soul and the warmth that her presence emanates, like a sunrise in mid-autumn.
